Course includes
Gain valuable knowledge and skills as a support worker in the disability sector, to foster independence and community access for people with disability. Learn how to provide daily supports, dignity and choice for the people you support.
Contains 4 Units of Competency.
- CHCCOM005 Communicate and work in health or community services
- CHCDIV001 Work with diverse people
- HLTWHS002 Follow safe work practices for direct client care
- HLTWHS006 Manage personal stressors in the work environment
Course requirements
This program is designed for people who are not currently employed (job seekers) or working less than 20hrs per week, and want to study to gain the skills and knowledge to work in the Care Sector.
