CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

This qualification equips students with the knowledge and practical skills to offer person-centred support. It is designed for people currently working in the disability sector or who have prior experience.

JULY – starting 1st July. One training day per fortnight – training day, Monday.
SEPTEMBER – starting 26th September. One training day per week – training day, Thursday.
NOVEMBER – starting 19th November. One training day per fortnight – training day, Tuesday.

The above programs are trained at Pathways Training Centre, Bentley. Free parking on site and public transport close by.

Course includes

Gain valuable knowledge and skills as a support worker in the disability sector, to foster independence and community access for people with disability. Learn how to provide daily supports, dignity and choice for the people you support.

Contains 15 Units of Competency, including 9 core and 6 elective units.

Course requirements

This program is suitable for students who are existing workers in the industry. You will be asked to complete a Learner Profile to ensure your suitability to join the program.

This qualification requires 120 hours of logged work placement (on the job experience to practice your skills). You may be required to organise your own work placement – contact Activ Pathways to discuss your options.
